Jeff Reed founded this special Travel Club in 1984. Jeff is a retired Gerontologist, who practiced in the Greater Phoenix area. His practice was limited to working with terminally ill individuals. The original Travel Club was for the widows and widowers of his practice. He has traveled more than 5 million miles as a tour guide / escort with senior citizens in the past 16 years. Today, there are three chapters in the Greater Phoenix Area, and an assortment of members, including married couples and single individuals. In addition to their involvement in all phases of the operation, the Travel Club has several volunteers who plan the various trips and tours, take reservations, answer e-mails, provide tour guide services, and much more. |
